About Gopher General

Built by farmers to solve a real-world gopher problem.

Before there was a Gopher General, there was a gopher problem at Pask Farms.

Murray Pask had trapped them, baited them, and tried about everything he could find. The gophers kept coming back, and dealing with them meant more labor, damaged fields, and more dirt where it didn’t belong.

So he started working a better way to handle gopher control, and after many years of trial and error, the first Gopher General came together in 2010.

Murray wasn't trying to start a business. He just wanted his own gopher problem solved.

Built for Farm Use

A gopher control machine made for rough field work.

Gopher General was developed around the conditions farm equipment actually sees: rocks, changing soil moisture, abrasive ground, long days and repeated seasonal use.

The machine is built with heavy-duty components and serviceable wear parts so routine maintenance doesn’t turn into extended downtime.

Replacement parts are readily available, and many wear components can be shipped directly from suppliers in the US. That means less time waiting on proprietary parts from a distant dealer network and more time getting the machine back to work.

Gopher General Support

Help with setup, operation, and parts.

Buying the machine is only part of the deal. Gopher General stays involved when owners need help with setup, field adjustments, maintenance or replacement parts.

If something isn’t working the way it should, the team will help you figure out what’s going on and get the machine back in the field. Owners describe that support as responsive, straightforward and easy to work with.

When you need help, you’re dealing with people who literally invented the equipment, know how it gets used, and want to keep it working.
